What You Can Expect

As your Learning Coach, I offer comprehensive personalized content and support designed to meet the unique needs of every individual. I focus on building essential skills, fostering academic confidence and promoting effective learning strategies.

Spanish & English Language Learning

Whether in the summer or when school is in session, I provide individualized tutoring in grammar, speaking, reading, writing and listening for both Spanish and English. My goal is to empower individuals to excel in both languages.

ACT Test Prep or Score Analysis

As a trained ACT tutor, I prep students for the advanced grammar and reading components of the exam, along with sharing effective test-taking strategies to maximize their scores. Students looking to improve ACT scores will have an analysis session based on previous performance. Areas of growth will be the focus of the sessions.

Organizational Skills & AI Usage

I work with individuals to develop effective study habits and planning strategies. They learn how to manage their time, organize materials and approach learning most effectively. Emphasis is placed on using AI as a teaching tool, rather than a work-replacement tool, learning how to use AI to explain concept processes and to help them think more deeply and critically.

Why not get an early "edge" with ongoing support?

Individuals who have mastery of both the Spanish and English languages have an "edge." Freshmen college students can test out of their second language requirement and put their efforts toward additional passions, or they can test into higher levels immediately. Adults can increase marketability with an understanding of an additional language.

Younger students engaged in Spanish immersion often lose some of their learning during the summer for lack of practice and continual engagement with the language. Let me help keep the learning "fresh" even during the off-season.

Proficient reading and writing are crucial to success in school and beyond. Help your student learn to read and comprehend more successfully with advanced vocabulary and/or support his/her writing skills through targeted practice for generating ideas, organizational structure, voice and grammar. Get ahead on those college and scholarship essays.

Students nervous and concerned about performing at a high level in university work also benefit from my Aliada support. Imagine having a support person available to brainstorm, discuss, guide and proof with your student through some of those challenging times.
